Inhlonhla staff joined scores of runners at Imbube King's Marathon
Once again, this year Inhlonhla staff joined scores of runners at Imbumbe King’s Marathon held on the 7th of October 2018. Inhlonhla client, the Swaziland National Provident Fund (SNPF), hosted the marathon for the third time since 2016. Runners register for different categories of races – 42 km, 21 km, 10 km and 3.3 km – and converged at Somhlolo National Stadium.
Imbube Marathon is part of His Majesty’s Vision of transforming the country to reach a first world status by 2022. To help the King and the Kingdom of Eswatini realize this vision, SNPF, in partnership with other organizations, hosts the marathon to encourage EmaSwati to exercise and keep a healthy lifestyle so that they remain productive. Imbube Marathon attracts runners from the country and beyond the borders hence boosting the Kingdom’s tourism industry. In this year’s edition of the marathon, SNPF offered 4 500 slots for runners.
Inhlonhla is proud to be associated with this initiative that seeks to encourage a healthy, productive workforce to boost the economy.
